This is the start of our big summer trip to New York. At the airport waiting to leave. We took the red eye! This was about 11:30pm. We had the great opportunity to go to New York this summer. Jantsen's baseball team, the Hobble Creek Hurricanes, decided to go to Cooperstown this year so we packed on a few more days and made a very memorable trip out of it. Nick and Brooks stayed home with the Grandma's.
Jantsen was about ready to pass out. (So sick! On his last couple days of antibiotic)
Palmyra, NY. The Palmyra temple.
Hill Cumorah Visitor Center.
Getting ready for the Hill Cumorah Pageant to start. It was absolutely amazing!
Standing right outside the temple looking out to the Sacred Grove.
The Joseph Smith log home.
The Holy Bible was the only book Joseph's family had in their home.
The Sacred Grove.
From the Sacred Grove looking at the temple.
The old time printing press. At the Grandin Building. This tour was awesome!! Our tour guide (Sister missionary) felt prompted to sing "I know that my Redeemer lives"after the tour and it was so powerful!
I guess I liked this so much I put it in twice...wow!
The Peterson's and the Averetts went on the tour with us.
All the kids on the top of the Hill Cumorah.
