Finishing up the summer…Fall is in the air!

School shopping and lunch with Nick and Brooks.  They were awesome!  We went to 2 stores and finished in an hour and a half!  All three boys are playing football this year and have started practices every day.  Nick likes to show Brooks a thing or two…  

Freezer Corn Day was slick also.  We were finished in 3 hours!  Lots of help from people who love to eat corn all year!  The first day of school was August 19th, this year.  We have a Freshman in college (due to 2-yr mission), Junior in HS, 8th grader, and a 5th grader.  All excited for school to start!  :)

Lake Powell trip #11

One of the very best!!  Tubing, cliff jumping, kayaking, paddle boarding, eating delicious food, singing (especially Rylee), playing games, watching movies, reminiscing about previous years and watching the video Rylee put together of the past 10 years, Payton making Pupusas, Steve's best Tennessee Ma story yet, spiritual evening discussions, kids playing pranks on the parents (best prank yet), hiking the huge crack and the Indian ruins, blowing two tires, Payton catching a mouse on the boat, no injuries other than Laura's sprained foot, hearing Mitch's first missionary email and listening to Easton's missionary story and  enjoying Caroline's company.  Each year gets better and better!  No wonder we keep going back!
