February 28-March 7, 2009 Greg and I went to Puerto Vallarta with the Ollertons and the Murdocks. We had a blast!

Sunday, March 1. We relaxed at the resort. We swam in the pools, laid in the sun and body surfed in the ocean. (Laura, Molly, Steve, and Cori)

Monday, March 2. Ready to go on the Outdoor Adventure. We waited a while then figured out Louis (the resort concierge) booked us on the wrong tour. Luckily they had room on the tour at 3pm.
So we went to town to have lunch and walk around.
We had a delicious lunch at Bubba Gumps. They had the best Mango Lemonade!

We actually completed the fun adventure! We rode donkeys, ziplined, hiked and repelled down a waterfall. At one point we were all soaked head to toe! Laura attempted to conquer her fear of heights and edges...
Tuesday, Mar. 3. Getting ready in the bathroom of our room for a fun filled day of the Dune Buggys! I should say "stressed" filled day. Greg and I came a little too close to oncoming traffic and one of our many quotes of the trip was formed. "This thing is a piece of ____!!!"
Tuesday night at the resort fiesta. We recovered from our crazy day and had a lot of fun at dinner. "Uno, dos, tres...Ondalay!!"

Wednesday, Mar. 4. We wanted a little more relaxation so we decided to go to Las Caletas. This was the hour boat ride there. We saw about six whales.

We tried a little secluded spot, but then moved to some lounge chairs.
Steve and Greg...happy during the stress free week. We snorkeled, swam, relaxed and ate a superb lunch.
On the boat ride back. We pulled up between two cruise ships. We did a lot of dancing and singing on the boat ride home.
Thursday, March 5. We went to Old Town Puerto Vallarta and shopped around.
Thurs, Mar. 6. After a great day of relaxing, basking in the sun and napping (Molly and Cori went swimming with the Dolphins) we went back to Bubba Gump's for dinner. Greg was so excited about his balloon hat!
Trying to get Greg to cooperate for the camera. After this great dinner of tons of shrimp, we headed out to find the famous dancing bar called "Andelaye's". In the process, we were pulled over by a policeman that tried to rob us. Luckily our guardian angel was a man who lived there that happened to be watching from the sidewalk. He walked up to our car and asked if we were okay and if this policeman was robbing us. Once the cop saw him he brought Steve's license back to us and told us we were okay and free to go. We made it to Andelaye's and danced our hearts out! It was a night to remember!
Friday we relaxed at the resort. We all had massages, finished our books by the pool and napped some more. Then we headed to Salulyta, the big surfing town. This was another beautiful beach. It was fun to watch the surfers.

St.George here we come!!! Actually this picture was taken on the ride home. We left for the March Madness Tourney on March 18 at 9:30 pm. After Jantsen's basketball game (they won). Payton rode down with Kesters earlier that day.
Thursday Mar. 19. At Jantsen's first game against the "Highlanders" (we won 7 to 6). Brooks hooked up with his "girlfriends". Avery Boyer.

We were 10 minutes late to Payton's first game and missed his homerun over the center field fence. His team (Utah Trojans) won their first game against the Utah Stixx.
However, they lost their next three games...
Payton did great pitching and playing shortstop and third base.
Poor Jantsen ended up getting really sick with strep. He could only play half of his second game (which they won). Thanks to Uncle Jeff, we purchased an antibiotic and doped him up! He missed the third game against the Storm (we lost) but managed to play the fourth. He had a great hit to left field and played catcher, however, we lost this game too.

Thanks to Jane, we stayed in the Petersen's Green Valley Condo. Nick and Brooks couldn't wait to swim in the pools!
