Brooks finally graduates from Preschool!!

It is true! Brooks finally graduated from Preschool! This year he went to Hobble Creek Learning Center. His teacher's were Mrs. Staheli and Mrs. Poulson. He loved it!!

Hugging Mrs. Staheli.

The best was that cousin Hailey was in Brooks class!

Jantsen's 5th grade plays...

Gotta love the Brookside 5th grade plays! Great job, Jants!

Jantsen played the principal, Mr Grumm.

We all love Miss Roach!
Tanner Shields, Josh Elison and Jantsen at the end of the plays.

Mother's Day with the Thorpes...

Just a few of us at Jeff & Jane's on Mother's Day having smores.

Huge Honey bee swarm in our yard!

A honeybee colony with about 20,000 bees decided to perch on one of our bushes this spring. Scared me to death! We called a bee catcher and he came and captured them. What an amazing thing to watch!

Random pics...

Mapleton Jr. High had an 80's style dance. Coach Rowley told Payton he would give him two candy bars if he cut his hair in a mullet. 10 minutes before the dance Payton cut his hair in a mullet! It stayed that way for about 3 weeks. He wore Greg's letterman's jacket and it was frightening how much he looks like his dad!

Jantsen and friend Scott Averett.
Cute Brooks with "Racky", his stuffed racoon.

Nick's piano recital...

Getting ready for the recital. This was Nick's first recital. They had it at the Art Museum. He did a great job!

A few More of Payton and baseball...

Just a couple more pics of Payton baseball this year.

Playing 3rd base.

Payton & SHS Red Devil Baseball...

Payton had many, many baseball games this year. He played on the Sophomore team and the JV team and even got in a couple of Varsity games. He really worked hard and played well! These are a couple of shots of an amazing play he made at shortstop. He actually snagged the ball and made the throw to third to get the runner out.

SHS Red Devils at the State playoffs. Playing Timpanogus.
Faithful fans.
Payton got to pinch run in the state playoffs.

A great photo of Payton and Coach Child.
Listening intently.
Listening to the coaches after the great game. Payton, Hummer, Brad Morse, Aaron Grey and Derek Boyer.
Feeling great after defeating Timpanogus 12-4.
Announcing the Springville Red Devils to start the Championship game in the State playoffs.
Springville takes 2nd in state. Barely losing to Spanish Fork 3-4 in extra innings.
Mulling around after the near win. Way to go Devils!! Took 3rd in region and ended up taking 2nd in state!!
