Service Night...

After Nick's birthday party we all put together humanitarian kits for Jeff and Jane to take to Africa with them.
We did newborn kits, hygiene kits and school kits.

Don't forget the pencils, Jants...
Even the little kids got into helping...
Payton had some pretty cute visitors come to wish him well. He has been sick for the past few days. Payton, Karson, Kelsie, and Marie. Kecia and Josie had already left.
Finishing up...
Grandpa barely made it coming from Montana!
Everything packed up...they will need to take 2 bags instead of 1! It was a great night!

Nick's 8th birthday!

Nick turned 8 on November 9th. He had a friend party the Saturday before his birthday.
He invited 14 boys...
Here they are getting ready to play "Murder".
Giving out the cards...
Getting ready to play "spoons"...
Everyone wanted to take a turn with the shuffler.
Then we went out to play "Capture the Flag", "Kick ball", & wiffle ball...
Greg tries to make the teams fair.

After playing games we had ice cream sandwiches and sang Happy Birthday.

Grandma and Grandpa Faux came to wish him a happy birthday. They brought him 8 dollars and a shirt.
"Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!"
Nick was so excited about his birthday cake made by aunt Savannah. The Thorpe's came over to celebrate.
Nick wanted something sporty and Savannah came up with this...she is amazing!! Perfect for Nick!
