Christmas Eve and Day 2010

Christmas Eve is always interesting, but fun at the Fauxes! With 19 grandchildren (20 on the way) there is always something to laugh at. We ate a yummy dinner, sang some songs, played a Christmas memories game and opened some gifts.

...always something to laugh at or about!
Laura and Mindy trying to capture the moment!

Brinley was hilarious with her singing voice!
Nick and Kellie Jo played "Up on the Rooftop" for us.

Handing out Santa's gifts.

Santa brought Christmas Eve t-shirts this year along with the movie "Despicable Me".
We guessed who our "special person" was, ate some yummy melting cake with ice cream, read the story of the birth of Christ in the Bible and then watched our new movie.
Christmas morning...

A TOTAL surprise!

They never thought mom would allow it!

A pretty happy bunch!
Lovin Jantsen!
Christmas morning at the Thorpes.

Temple Square.

Going to Temple Square on the Trax. Brooks insisted that we take the "train". We missed the first train and thought we were on the right second train only to be mistaken and had to wait another 20 minutes for the right train. Needless to say we were a little late in meeting up with the rest of the Thorpe clan.

Ryann, Gracie, Porter and Nick in the tabernacle.

All of us except Greg and Riley who were taking the pictures.

December Activities...

Some of the fun December things we did.

Brooks loves to play with his blocks and wants to be an artist or architect. This is a restaurant at an airport.
This is Nick's Christmas program at school with the 3rd and 4th graders. He was an Englishman.

Saying his part about still sending Christmas cards today.
Cousin Gracie was also in the program.
Nick's Christmas piano recital. Announcing his songs.

The first "snow day" of the year. (Dec. 21) They even closed the schools in Nebo District. We had close to 2 feet.

The mighty hunters in South Dakota 2010

The Annual Pheasant Hunt in South Dakota. Greg, Payton and Jantsen look forward to this trip all year. They drove with the Child family, Robert Ellis & kids, Steve Murdock & kids and father and Scott Mitchell this year. They saw thousands of birds and the pictures show how many were shot.
