Returning from the morning hunt, tired and empty handed.

After waking up at 5am (an hour earlier than planned), hiking up and down the mountain with nothing to shoot at but a poor little fox, the mighty hunters crashed and didn't move for several hours I'm sure! :)

The Thorpe kids are ready for the annual Halloween cookie decorating night at Grandma Thorpe's house. Everyone was there this year and we had soup, salad and breadsticks for dinner beforehand.
Payton and Jantsen just can't help but taste the frosting...Nick can hardly contain himself as Porter wonders about his cousin.

You can't really see it, but all three were covered with frosting and cookie bits. One of these three people is actually over 21 years old (an adult). Can you guess who? :) Luckily the frosting fight moved outdoors! And only Savannah ended up with an injury. (Hope the foot is okay!)
The Faux family Halloween party! It was a great hit. This is about half of the grandkids. The kids had a blast dressing up, playing games and being together.

Our future missionaries!! Payton, Kaden and Karson head out as Elders to the Jr. High Halloween dance. Don't they look official?! All three (and Hummer) are in Service Learning, a class at school. This class was in charge of planning and decorating the Halloween dance. In about 5 years a similar picture may be taken, only they will be heading out for 2 years!

Grandma and Grandpa Thorpe rough up the Champs! The game started out with Seth's interception and run to a touchdown! Jantsen ran up the middle for another touchdown! Then Seth returned the punt for a 3rd touchdown-- all in the first half!! Half-time score being 19 to 0. Nick was walking on air because he got to play most of the second half. He did some great blocking, but was taken down by his own team mate, McKenna. (Yes a girl, but one of the teams biggest players) However, he did not stop smiling, even when he jumped into bed. The final score was 19 to 6. What a great season for the Titans!!
